主的义 [Righteousness of the Lord]

彼得前书2章24节：“祂被挂在木头上，亲身担当了我们的罪，使我们既然在罪上死，就得以在义上活。因祂受的鞭伤，我们便得了医治。”

今日默想：我们信徒是已经在罪上死了的人，所以绝对不可以仍在罪中活着。罪既然在我们的身上已经失了业，我们的身体就不必再作罪的奴仆了。我们信主之前是在罪上活，信主之后则是在义上活。从前如何作罪的奴仆，受罪的管辖，现今则应当如何作义的奴仆，受义的管辖。得以在义上活表明我们有能力活出义来。从前是心有余而力不足，无力行义，现今则是力有余而心不足，不够立定心志顺服上帝在我们里面所运行的大能大力。主耶稣救赎的功效，及于我们身、心、灵各方面的病症。所以凡是我们肉身、精神或灵命上全人各样的问题，都可以取用主在十字架上所成功的救恩。

1 Peter 2:24 :“who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—— by whose stripes you were healed.”

Today’s Meditation: We are dead to sins, so we cannot still live in sins. Since sins no longer have power on us, we need not to be the slaves of sins anymore. Before we believed in the Lord, we live on sins. After we believed in the Lord, we now live on righteousness. We need to be the servants of righteousness and be governed by righteousness just as how we were governed by sins. As we might live for righteousness, it means we can live out the righteousness. Before this, we did not have the power to be righteous. However, we still have trouble to do it now even though we believed in the Lord because we are not firm enough in obeying the power God puts inside us. The salvation of Lord Jesus reaches our body, mind, and spirit. So, any problem of us regardless physically, mentally, or spiritually can be solved by the salvation of Christ.
