行善不可丧志 [Do Not Grow Weary in Doing Good]

Book: 2 Thessalonians (New Testament)
Author: Paul

2 Thessalonians 3:13: “But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good.”

Today’s Meditation: We shall possess a mindset that everything we do is for the Lord and ministries. We shall understand that possessing such mindset is noble and worthy. Our life is about improving, having endless fights and struggles, until the day we end our lives on earth. Thus, we shall not grow weary but be patient and run on the path that is lying upon us. Doing good can sometimes be misunderstood by people and may cause us to grow weary, which subsequently lead to the stopping of our good works. We shall know that doing good is not about pleasing people, but to please the Lord who examine our heart. If we can be certain of God’s comments about our good works, we do not have to worry about being misunderstood by other people. If we do good works just to show our kindness without following the principle matter of morality, we could fail to benefit people and may end up growing weary in us.
