儿子的名分 [Adopted as Sons]

Book: Ephesians (New Testament)
Author: Paul

Ephesians 1:5 :“having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,”

Today’s Meditation: The predestination of God tells that His selections are changeless. He had placed the mark on us. His predestination comes from His love. His love lasts to the end as described in John 13:1. Therefore, His love will not be practised incompletely. Every blessing we received from God is from His unconditional love. Everything we do for God today should be done with a heart of loving God in order to have its value. The predestination of God is not done reluctantly, but according to the good pleasure of His will. His predestination is not due to our lovingness or perfection, but our lack of lovingness of perfection. God’s will will stand still to the end to fulfil His will. The predestination on us will be fulfilled eventually. We are not predestined to be His servants, but to be adopted as sons to withstand His abundance. This is the greatest blessing of God. We are not chosen just to become His sons or daughters and experience Him, but also to be adopted as sons to have the heavenly inheritance.
