与蒙召的恩相称 [Walk Worthy of the Calling]

Book: Ephesians (New Testament)
Author: Paul

Ephesians 4:1 :“I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,”

Today’s Meditation: We were called by God to live on this world with the purpose of living out His grace. This verse tells that the grace of God can be revealed through the life of fellow Christians. Christianity is different than other religions. The others only ask without giving, while Christianity gives before asking. Paul is urging us to live out the grace through this verse. We will fall short of the calling of God if we do not walk worthy of the calling with which we were called. We cannot be saved by our acts, but one who is saved needs to have a set of standardised good acts.
