约伯的试炼 [Job’s Test]

Book: Job (Old Testament)

Job 23:8 :“Look, I go forward, but He is not there, and backward, but I cannot perceive Him;”
Job 23:9 :“When He works on the left hand, I cannot behold Him; when He turns to the right hand, I cannot see Him.”
Job 23:10 :“But He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.”

Today’s Meditation: Job failed to search for God everywhere. Job still pursued after the trail of God even in the sitation that seemed to be without God. Although Job could not find God, he still believed that God knew the way that He took and the way was meant in God’s will. Job realised that he was being tested instead of being punished or facing grievance. He knew that the test will make him come forth as gold.
