上帝丰富的怜悯 [The Rich Mercy of God]

Book: Ephesians (New Testament)
Author: Paul

Ephesians 2:4 :“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,”

Today’s Meditation: The verse uses “but God” and not “but us”. This reminds us to stop being determined to avoid sinning and start relying on God. It is God who mercies us. Our sins would have made us unsaved if it were not God’s rich mercy. Mercy comes before love and reaches for the unlovable people. This makes the unlovable people to rise from pity prospect to lovable place. God always treat us with His mercy. He only treats us with His righteousness when we ignore His mercy. Only those who know the love of God really know the precious salvation. Those who are not touched by God’s love cannot be used by Him.
