纯净的灵奶 [Pure Milk of Word]

彼得前书2章2节：“就是爱慕那纯净的灵奶，像才生的婴孩爱慕奶一样，叫你们因此渐长，以致得救。”

今日默想：爱慕上帝的话乃是基督徒长进的先决条件。上帝为着使我们的灵命长进，就在我们里面给了一颗爱慕主话的心。一个正常的基督徒，并不以研读上帝的话为沉重的负担，而是享受祂的话，越读越觉滋润、甘甜、满足。基督徒的一生，需要上帝的话语的供养，因它是“理所当然”的食物，使人在恩典中，健康地长进。上帝的话透过我们心思合理的领会，能转变为滋养灵命的奶，使灵命渐长，因此我们须按着正意分解上帝的话。上帝的话是最为合理的，因为它纯净、正直、准确，故此我们应当放心享用。我们灵命的成长和我们得着完全的救恩密切相关。现今忽略追求灵命长进的基督徒，将来必会受到极大的亏损。彼得前书4章18节提醒我们，基督徒不能以仅仅得救为满足，必须继续不断的追求，照腓立比书3章12节所教导，期望能得着主所要我们得着的，就是完全的救恩。

1 Peter 2:2 :“as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby.”

Today’s Meditation: Desiring the words of God is the requirement for Christians to grow. God gave us a heart to desire His words so that we can improve our spirituals. A normal Christian will not take studying God’s words as burden. He will enjoy His words, feeling sweet and satisfied as he ventures more. Life of Christians need words of God to support because His words are ‘reasonable’ food for us to grow healthily in graces. God’s words as comprehended by the rationale of our minds will turn into pure milk of word for the growth of our spirituals. Thus, we need to rightly dividing the word of truth. God’s words are the most rational because they are pure, righteous and accurate. We can enjoy His words safely. Our spirituals are closely related to our complete salvation. Christians who ignore spiritual growths now will have great loss in the future. 1 Peter 4:18 reminds us that we cannot be just scarcely saved but to continue pursue for more just as taught by Philippians 3:12 that we lay hold of what Lord laid hold for us, that is the complete salvation.
