回转 [Turn Back]

Book: James (New Testament)
Author: James

James 5:19 :“Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back,”
James 5:20 :“let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.”

Today’s Meditation: Many Christians spread gospel to the unbelievers, but do not care about those who wander from truth. Some even possess repulsive attitude towards these who wander. Such act does not fit the teaching of Bible. The prayers of the elders of the church can heal; the prayer of Elijah made the Israelites turned back to God. If we were to care about those who wander, we can also create a significant effect. There are many unusual conditions in church such as weakness, sickness, hardened mind, withered mind, wander, sins and others. A Christian should take the responsibility to pray for them instead of ignoring these conditions.
