[Imperishable Crown]

Book: 1 Corinthians (New Testament)
Author: Paul

1 Corinthians 9:25 :“And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.”

Today’s Meditation: The races and competitions on earth is to obtain a perishable crown. We pursue after the Lord today is to obtain the imperishable crown. Thus, we should be dedicate to pursue the Lord on this spiritual path. Earthly people temperate in all things to obtain the perishable crown. We as Christians with the eternal prize ahead should even more temperate in all things so that nothing blocks our way to the reward.
