软弱时刚强 [Strong When Weak]

Book: 2 Corinthians (New Testament)
Author: Paul

2 Corinthians 12:10 :“Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

Today’s Meditation: There is no escape from suffers if we were to serve the Lord. Suffers can destroy or build a person. It is entirely up to that person. We cannot decide the intensity of suffers or the time it will come. However, we can control our reactions towards the suffers. We should rather boast of our weak and sufferings rather than the condition that we are getting into Heaven. God never decreases our weaknesses. His salvation is the power of Christ and the abundance of fullness. Through these, we can be strong when we are weak. We will be joyful when we are sad; we will be filled when we feel meaningless; we will be raised when we are suppressed. This seems paradox but it is true. Hallelujah!
