不待弟兄姐妹如仇人 [Do Not Count Brethren as Enemy]

Book: 2 Thessalonians (New Testament)
Author: Paul

2 Thessalonians 3:15 :“Yet do not count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.”

Today’s Meditation: The disciplinary actions in church should be filled with brotherly love but not too harsh. We should treat one another with no one evil for evil while overcoming evil with good. If one committed sins, he still is our brethren. We only treat him as Gentiles at most but do not count him as an enemy. Today’s Christianity world has many people against one another whose knowledge towards truth differ. Sometimes such against is even worse than the way they treat sinners. The brethren we are against with may have the same Christianity foundation such as acknowledging the oneness of God, Jesus as God and the redemption. It is not good to treat brethren differently just because we have different opinions on irrelevant truth.
