指出错 [Tell One’s Fault]

Book: Matthew (New Testament)
Author: Matthew

Matthew 18:15 :“Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.”

Today’s Meditation: It is a small matter to get sinned against, but your brethren does not know how big the matter is. It is necessary to tell your brethren his fault by telling him so that he does not run greedily in the error. Pointing out one’s mistake is not reproaching but to make one back to the right path. We need to point out the mistake face to face instead of at the back. We should not talk someone at the back if we do not have the courage to talk to him face to face. We need to stand at each other’s ground and think for one another. We should avoid letting others to know a brethren have sinned against you as much as possible. We need to do the ‘right’ thing with the ‘right’ attitude and method. We cannot reap the ‘right’ effect if we possessed the wrong attitude and method even if we are doing the ‘right’ thing.
