善用舌头 [Use Our Tongue Properly]

Book: James (New Testament)
Author: James

James 3:9 :“With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God.”

Today’s Meditation: Therefore by Jesus Christ let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. Our tongue are created to express our worship and spirit in truth to God, and to give advices and edifying words to people. We should not use our tongue to curse. Some believers thought they are the guardian of truth and righteousness. They will criticise, judge, and even curse brethren whose minds are odd. Curse is never a nature of a person who has spiritual life whether we are cursing our brethren or the world. Those who thought themselves as the hero should repent in God before giving such strong words.
