跟从主 [Follow the Lord]

Book: Matthew (New Testament)
Author: Matthew

Matthew 9:9 :“As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, Follow Me. So he arose and followed Him.”

Today’s Meditation: It is not us who seek but the Lord who seeks for us. The calling of the Lord can make us leave sins and follow Him. We cannot follow the Lord without hearing His calling. We need to respond to the calling positively. We should run after the Lord if He attracted us. The Lord not only wants us to believe in Him but also to follow Him. Follow the Lord is to obey the will of God on the way of the cross. God does not need those who believe without following. The life of Christians is to “follow the Lord”. Following the Lord is to share the tribulation and kingdom and patience of the Lord.
