孩子 [Child]

Book: 1 Corinthians (New Testament)
Author: Paul

1 Corinthians 13:11 :“When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.”

Today’s Meditation: Paul compared the differences between children and adult in this verse to emphasise the differences between the shallow knowledge of human and the glory in the future in Heaven. One will put away his childish thoughts and feelings when he grew up. In the same way, we will put away our earthly ideas and thoughts when we come to Heaven in the future. The differences of viewpoints and understandings will be like a child and an adult when we come to the glorious Heaven.
