结果子的枝子 [Branch that Bear Fruit]

Book: John (New Testament)
Author: Apostle John

John 15:2 :“Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.”

Today’s Meditation: There are branches that bear fruit and do not bear fruit on a grape tree. It is up to the branch whether to bear fruit or not. The Lord gives us the right to choose which type of Christian we want to be. Pruning includes both cleaning and removal. We need to cleanse our sins and remove negative things that we should not have in us, for both these hinder us from bearing fruit. Branches must be trimmed to bear fruit. Christians must pay great efforts to be the vessel for the Lord and witness for Him. We can lead more people to the Lord as we accept His pruning all the time. We will lose the traits of Christian if we do not let the Lord prune us. We will lose our nature of Christianity if we choose to live in our way. Bearing fruit is the highest revelation of the life of grape tree. It can brings satisfaction to the planter. It is necessary to bear more fruit as a branch. Bearing more fruit is the mutual target we all should have.
