以善胜恶 [Overcome Evil with Good]

Book: Romans (New Testament)
Author: Paul

Romans 12:21 :“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”

Today’s Meditation: Revenge is a weak instead of a strong action. One who lost his temper and gave up the principle of love of Christian will fail. Whoever that can suppress the thought of revenge can turn the grievance he has into a chance to reveal kindness. Such suppression can overcome our own self and the evil force. Such act not only is noble but also effective in eliminate hostility and win people’s minds. God did not punish the sinners. He conquests them with His love and mercy. It is the goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering of God that bring people repent.
