Ministers of God (1)]

Book: 2 Corinthians (New Testament)
Author: Paul

2 Corinthians 6:4 :“But in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God: in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses,”

Today’s Meditation: A true minister of God will be the witness of Christ on everything he does. It is not up to our experiences and abilities to determine whether we are the ministers of God. Our life should be the way to serve and witness for God. Tribulations can show whether one is the minister of God. Ministers of God work together with God through their life but not spiritual graces. Only those who went through the cross and have their life matured like Christ can deal with any situation. The body and soul of ministers of God must be trained to reveal the uniqueness of God’s servants. We cannot be acknowledged as the ministers of God if we cannot bring out the stature and abundance of Christ through our life. Tribulations produce patience, and patience is revealed in tribulations. These two always work together. Needs and distresses are the blessings of God as well as the living mark of God’s ministers. We will continue ‘Ministers of God (2)‘ tomorrow.
