基督徒 [Christian]

Book: 1 Peter (New Testament)
Author: Peter

1 Peter 4:16 :“Yet if anyone suffers as Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.”

Today’s Meditation: We do not have to be ashamed to suffer as Christian. We should feel glorious instead. Compel is the sign of God acknowledging our work. We do not have to seek for tribulation or escape from it. We just have to do things we should do and have no worry about whether tribulation will happen. We not only need to be glorious for the title ‘Christian’, but also to glorify God in our whole life. A Christian will bring shame to God if he does not live as the title goes. The title ‘Christian’ is a great and glorious responsibility. People respect us through our reaction towards tribulation. This is how we glorify God.
