祈求、寻找、叩门 [Pray, Seek, Knock]

Book: Matthew (New Testament)
Author: Matthew

Matthew 7:7 :“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”

Today’s Meditation: Our prayers never fail. However, God might not give us exactly as what we want for He knows what is truly needed by us. The ‘energy’ released through our prayers is like the law of conservation in physics that says nothing will disappear. A thing might looks disappeared in a form, but actually still existing in another form. God will respond to us through His authority and unlimited wisdom. Our ‘knocking’ controls the ‘opening’ of the door. Our ‘prayers’ control the ‘will’ of God. The principle of God is that we pray before He works. ‘pray, seek, knock’ tells that our prayers must be repeatedly and multi-directional until God responds to us. We must have a proper relationship with God before having a proper relationship with people. We live an intimate life with God through ‘pray, seek, knock’.
