服侍 [Serve]

Book: James (New Testament)
Author: James

James 1:1 :“James, a bondservant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad: greetings.”

Today’s Meditation: Lord Jesus Christ is not the secondary God. He sacrificed Himself to reveal God. In fact, He is God. Our Master are God and Lord Jesus Christ. However, it does not mean we have two masters. Serving the Lord means serving God. Honour the Lord means honour God. As servants, we serve the Lord without keeping any part of our life, time, and talents to ourselves. Serving the Lord is the centre of our life. We have no master other than God Himself. We cannot serve God and mammon; want to get close to God but want to befriend the world as well. Christians scatter around the world. Our responsibilities are to be the salt and light to the world. In the world we will have tribulation, but we have peace in Christ.
