人的意志 [Our Will]

Book: Romans (New Testament)
Author: Paul

Romans 7:19 :“For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice.”

Today’s Meditation: Here it tells a person who live by his own will. All his evil are in his acts, while all his good are in his will. God wants us to understand that our own will cannot be our living ability. Many Christians live by their own will as their living ability. They cling onto themselves and their will. We need to be careful in our daily life be it when we eat, walk or speak. It is very tired to cling onto ourselves too much as we are forcing ourselves to be Christian. Being a Christian who live by his own will is like asking the water to flow upwards. This sort of people has two possibilities: whether he have yet to rebirth in Christ and receive the life of God, or have reborn but unable to live by the new life.
