徒受恩典 [Receive the Grace in Vain]

Book: 2 Corinthians (New Testament)
Author: Paul

2 Corinthians 6:1 :“We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain.”

Today’s Meditation: Working together with God means God works before we work. We do not rely on graces or abilities, but to live together with God. God pleads through us, we also plead. We need to enter the will of God so that His will becomes ours. This is working together with God. Paul pleaded with us as the identity of God’s workers. Thus, his words are God’s words and we need to accept. If we live for ourselves, we receive the grace of God in vain. One who truly knows the grace of God is willing to give up himself to God.
