忍耐 [Endure]

Book: 1 Thessalonians (New Testament)
Author: Paul

1 Thessalonians 3:1 :“Therefore, when we could no longer endure it, we thought it good to be left in Athens alone,”

Today’s Meditation: Regardless what kind of situation we are in, we cannot forsake the sheep of the Lord. We as servants of God live carnally for others. We should have endurance, for Matthew 24:13 tells us that who endures to the end shall be saved. We should have things that we cannot endure. It all depends on the nature of things. We should endure for what we lose on our own or earthly things, but we cannot endure for the lose of God and others. Through this, we can be used by God. Sometimes, we have to wait at other place alone depending on the planning of God. We still can do something meaningful such as prayer. What comes upon us daily should be our deep concern for all the churches.
