诚实无过 [Sincere and Without Offence]

Book>:Philippians (New Testament)
Author: Paul

Philippians 1:10 :“that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ,”

Today’s Meditation: Sincere love can help us to have proper sense of value in our life to approve things that are excellent. One who is continuously improving will not be satisfied with his current ‘good’. He will keep on pursuing the better ones. The spiritual ability to distinguish is related to our spiritual maturity. The more mature we are spiritually, the more we can distinguish. Sincere love helps us to leave falsehood. As we are sincere and pure towards others, we do not have the reason to stumble them. Sincere person is not a confused honest man, but being wise in his sincerity that he will not let himself get offended or offend others. We should be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. The prerequisite term for our being on earth depends on how we are going to account to the Lord, but not depending on how we should react to the world.
