[Reward from Persecutions]

Book: Matthew (New Testament)
Author: Matthew

Matthew 5:12 :“Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

Today’s Meditation: It is a blessing that a Christian’s way is blessed with persecution, for we will receive the reward in heaven. If we have a smooth journey ahead, it means a problem. In order to receive the reward like the prophets, we first need to pay to price by experiencing their suffers. The response when we are persecuted should not be sighing, but rejoice. Small rejoice comes with small persecution, while big rejoice comes with big persecution. Such joy cannot be understood by those who have not experienced.
