祷告 [Pray]

Book: Matthew (New Testament)
Author: Matthew

Matthew 6:6 :“But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.”

Today’s Meditation: Prayer is the most secret life of us. We are very shallow-minded if we only pray in front of people. Our prayer should back to the deepest part (go into your room), leave everything that does not belong to God (shut your door), and feel the God (Father who is in the secret place). Praying in the Holy Spirit is the key to reach the Lord. If the motive of our prayer is to have fellowship with God, then He will answer. God hears and sees our prayers. There are many times where we have nothing to pray in front of God, but our attitude and mind will deliver our prayer to God. God counts every prayer as charitable deeds even if we prayed in secret and God did not response. We will be rewarded for this. Prayer represents our spiritual life. Our danger is at focusing on praying in front of people, but do not practise prayer with God secretly.
