向罪死 [Died to Sins]

Book: Romans (New Testament)
Author: Paul

Romans 6:2 :“Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?”

Today’s Meditation: One who is saved should not live in sins anymore. Salvation saves us from sins and death so that we no longer are bound to sins and death. Although we who live in New Testament are not necessary to follow the laws in Old Testament, we still have to live a moral life. One cannot died to sin and still live in sins. This is because he cannot died but still live. Christians died to sins. One cannot be claimed as a Christian if he does not die to sins. It is a ridiculous and paradoxical saying that a Christian still live in sins.
