人肉体的软弱 [Our Flesh’s Weaknesses]

Book: Romans (New Testament)
Author: Paul

Romans 8:3 :“For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,”

Today’s Meditation: If our flesh cannot not fulfil the law, we can only commit sins and cannot be called righteous. We should stop hoping for our flesh in order to be a good Christian. Since God has said that we cannot fulfil the law, we should stop hoping people to fulfil the law. We should not be overexerted. We need to admit our weaknesses in order see a change. Our body is unique that we are strong on committing sins but weak in obeying laws. The salvation of the Christ solves these two losses. From one side, He condemned sins in the flesh to solve the issue of committing sins. From another side, He fulfilled the requirements of the law so that we no longer live by our flesh but still can attain righteousness of the law. We are not bound by law in Christ, and not bound by body in Spirit.
