等候耶和华 [Wait on the Lord]

Book: Isaiah (Old Testament)
Author: Isaiah

Isaiah 40:31 :“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”

Today’s Meditation: The ‘wait’ in the verse means trust and looking up to God. We should look up to God for His wisdom and strength humbly and wait for His guidance patiently. The life of a Christian is to receive from God non-stop and give back to Him through serving. We need to serve God with our strength as He will provide us new grace and strength from time to time. Those who do not receive from God will find themselves unable to serve. As Christians, we have the rights to be blessed and blessed, strengthened and strengthened to gain improvements. Our goals will get higher and eventually we will receive the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
