洗脚 [Wash Feet]

Book: John (New Testament)
Author: Apostle John

John 13:14 :“If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.”

Today’s Meditation: The spiritual meaning to wash feet is to correct mistakes. If we find filth among brethren, we need to face them with love and humility. Washing feet means to restore our relationship with God. Washing one another’s feet is to supply to one another. Churches should have the work of washing feet. Washing feet is the most precious helping among Christians. Nothing is more important than supplying to one another. The Lord wants us to supply to others by washing their feet, as well as receiving from others. We often find ourselves prefer to be served than serving others. The Lord wants us to serve one another here.
