同享的荣耀 [Shared Glory]

Book: John (New Testament)
Author: Apostle John

John 17:5 :“And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.”

Today’s Meditation: This was the second wish when Jesus prayed for Himself. When He prayed of this, His vision already surpassed the shadow of the cross while focusing on the glory He once had. This glory is not something He never had, but something He used to have. The Lord wished that Father will return Jesus’ glory to Him after He have fulfilled His purpose on the world through the cross. This reveals the identity and form of the Son which is the same as the Father. In the glory of God, Father and Son share the same.
