论断 [Judgement]

Book: 1 Corinthians (New Testament)
Author: Paul

1 Corinthians 4:3 :“But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by a human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself.”

Today’s Meditation: A servant of God should not care much about how others exalt you or depreciate you. We do not judge ourselves as well, but to have good conscience towards God, people, and matters. As long as there is no wrong from the aspect of truth, we do not need to care of others’ judgement and also judge ourselves. Criticism and judgement hurt the most, but they are a good test to those who are criticised or judged whether they serve God or not. Many who serve in churches are often judged. As we carry the cross, we care nothing of others’ judgement. This shows that we have grown in life. One who lives for people often care of how people see him, but one who lives for God care of how God sees him. The key of church life is to rely on Christ without being dragged by others’ criticisms or our own good and bad.
