主的同工 [Co-Workers of God]

Book: Philippians (New Testament)
Author: Paul

Philippians 4:3 :“And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.”

Today’s Meditation: The ‘true companion’, ‘laboured with me’, and ‘my fellow workers’ in the verse shows that Paul treated his co-workers equal instead of being his underlings. Being different mind among workers of God is the greatest problem among God’s workers. When there is problem between co-workers, we as companions should help them to make peace with one another instead of judging any side. When the leaders in church are not being harmony, siding with either side or sympathy will only lead to worse consequence. It is a sad thing if we have our names in the Book of Life but we do not live a life with good witnesses. The true workers of God have their names on the Book of Life. Other people may not know their efforts, but God knows and solely this is enough.
