饶恕 [Forgive]

Book: Luke (New Testament)
Author: Luke

Luke 17:4 :“And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, I repent, you shall forgive him.”

Today’s Meditation: God remitted our sins and no longer remember our sins. As we forgive people, we should not remember their sins as well. When our brethren sins against us, we need to think of him repenting while removing the negative feelings within us such as unfairness, complains, and hurt. A true forgiving does not remember how many times being sinned by people because all those past have been forgotten. Human’s forgiving comes with limit, but the Lord’s is unlimited. As we forgive one another, we do not forgive with our humane forgiveness, but to forgive based on the Lord’s forgiveness.
