爱心与根基 [Love and Foundation]

以弗所书3章17节：“使基督因你们的信，住在你们心里，叫你们的爱心有根有基，”

今日默想：里面刚强了，才会大有信心。也只有大有信心的人，主才能在他心里定居下来，并且作主掌权。信心和爱心乃是我们经历基督的条件。认识基督是用信心，享受基督是用爱心。信心在爱心之先，但不是爱心的根基。基督才是我们爱心的根基。信心也能使我们相信基督住在我们心里，乃是一个事实，而不是一句口号。缺少信心的人永远无法相信这事实。

Ephesians 3:17 :“that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,”

Today’s Meditation: As we get stronger inside, we will have greater faith. The Lord will only dwell in our hearts and be in charge when we have faith. Faith and love are the prerequisite conditions for us to experience Christ. We understand Christ by faith and enjoy Him by love. Faith comes before love, but it is not the foundation of love. Christ is our foundation of love. Faith allows us to believe in Christ and let Him dwell in us consequently. This is a fact but not a slogan. Those who lack of faith will not be able to believe such truth.
